Congratulations are in order for Dr. Tom Woods and the wonderful team in the Operating Room at St. Joseph’s who have received a Caring Spirit Award!

A grateful patient who had two surgical procedures earlier in 2016 wanted to recognize Dr. Woods and the Operating Room team for going above and beyond for him, so he made a generous donation to the Foundation via the Caring Spirit program and wrote a lovely thank-you card for the staff.

Thank you, Dr. Woods and Operating Room staff for all of your hard work, and for taking the time to serve Comox Valley patients in such a caring and compassionate way.

This is the third Caring Spirit Award handed out to staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the past month, which is absolutely incredible and shows how exceptional care is at our community hospital.
