Our hospital lab department runs over 1 million tests each year for both in-patient and out-patient care. High-use lab equipment needs to be top-of-the-line and in excellent working order. Tissue processors examine biopsy samples and investigate potentially cancerous tissue for changes. They are used for various types of testing including skin biopsies, prostate investigations, and examining breast tissue samples. Accurate, timely diagnosis provided by this testing is integral in the overall care patients receive.
