The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation is excited to announce a generous $5,000 donation from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. This contribution helps the Foundation move closer to achieving its goal of funding essential equipment for the Surgical Services Department at Comox Valley Hospital (CVH).

“As a new business in the Comox Valley, the Holiday Inn Express is proud to not only offer the latest amenities and comforts to our guests but to also support our community,” said Len Wansbrough, Owner of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Courtenay-Comox. “We are delighted to partner with the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation and support their vital work in enhancing healthcare services.”

In addition to this donation, the Holiday Inn Express is further demonstrating their commitment to local healthcare by offering a 10% discount on their best available rates for patients and patient families. A portion of these stays is donated back to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation, reinforcing their dedication to the well-being of the community. Located off Ryan Road, within walking distance of North Island Hospital, the friendly staff look forward to welcoming patients’ families.

With the Comox Valley’s growing population and the increase in surgeries—nearly 8,000 annually—this donation will have a great impact.

“We are extremely grateful to the Holiday Inn Express for their generous support,” said Katherine Mitchell, CVH Manager Surgical & Outpatient Intervention. “This donation will help our surgical teams to have access to the most up-to-date equipment, allowing the delivery of exceptional care right here in the Comox Valley. On behalf of the entire healthcare team, thank you, Holiday Inn Express!”
