Across the nation we sit with uncomfortable truths, not just today, everyday.

On this National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we are reflecting on the traumatic legacy of residential schools in Canada, including seven schools that were located on Vancouver Island, and the profound need for continued dialogue, deeper understanding, and a better way forward.

Reconciliation is unique for everyone. Each of us can effect change and we invite our community, along with us, to learn more to promote the healing that is so necessary for our collective health and wellness.
