Comox Valley, BC – The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation (CVHF) is pleased to announce that Susan Auchterlonie has been elected as the new Board President, succeeding Bill Anglin, who completed his term at the end of August 2024. Additionally, CVHF welcomes Sandy Dreger as the new Vice President.

“Having served on the CVHF Board of Directors for six years, Susan brings a familiar voice and a deep understanding of the needs of the Comox Valley community,” said Rhonda Stevens, Co-Executive Director of the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation. “Susan is an impressive leader, who’s knowledge and experience in community service will guide our organization toward continued growth and success. We are equally delighted to welcome Sandy Dreger as Vice President. Sandy is a compassionate leader who brings so much knowledge and experience in the healthcare field and community engagement that will greatly enhance our team’s impact.”

Auchterlonie has been a passionate advocate for healthy communities. Prior to this role, Susan was the Executive Director of the Comox Valley Community Foundation and previously worked with the North Island College Foundation.

“I am delighted to work with our community in support of enhanced healthcare in our region,” said Susan Auchterlonie. “As President of the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation, and someone who was born and raised in this beautiful community, I have witnessed the significant and positive growth of healthcare in our area and am thrilled to continue the momentum Bill and the CVHF have laid before me.”

Reflecting on Bill Anglin’s tenure, the Foundation recognizes his significant contributions and dedication to improving healthcare in the community. His leadership has played a critical role in many organizations across the Comox Valley, making him a true champion.
