“When you’re smiling the whole world smiles with you.” Isn’t that what they say?!

This famous line sung by some of the greatest jazz musicians of all times will be on the minds of the local Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation team and likely played at hundreds of Tim Hortons restaurants across the nation next week.

April 29 to May 5 is Smile Cookie Week. The iconic chocolate chunk cookies topped with pink and blue icing drawing out a smile will be available at all Tim Hortons restaurants in the Comox Valley. The best part is 100% of proceeds from these special cookies will be donated to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation, supporting great care, close to home, something important to all of us.

The Smile Cookie program started in 1996, supporting charities in communities across Canada, including the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation – one of 600 Canadian charities and community groups supported through the campaign. Last year, Tim Hortons restaurants raised a record-breaking $19.7 million for local charities and community groups. The Foundation was honoured to be the local beneficiary of some of these funds in 2023 and grateful to be included again this year.
