Listeners from the Comox Valley and surrounding communities have donated over $125,000 for local children who have special needs. Callers have also sponsored over 1250 Buddy Bears for St. Joseph’s Hospital. The bears bring comfort to children waiting for surgical procedures or experiencing other stressful situations.Since 2008 Variety The Childrens Charity has donated over $150,000 to The Maternal Child Unit at St. Joseph's.
