Youth helping youth values strong within Isfeld Interact Club

What a pleasure to meet with the Isfeld Interact Club and learn about their international and community efforts! This group of hardworking, humanitarian-focused youth know how to get a job done. We experienced first-hand how they put their “youth helping youth” motto into action with their gift to our pediatric stuffed animal program for the Comox Valley Hospital.

Mostly through school bake sales, they raised $600 for the Foundation requesting that the funds help sustain the program that aims to reduce stress and provide comfort when young patients visit the hospital.
Interact is a youth service club sponsored by the Comox Rotary Club. Each year they raise funds, volunteer in community, and carry out service projects with a commitment to make change locally and internationally.

Sincere thanks to this incredible group of young people who indeed put the “act” in Interact! #comoxvalleysd71
