On March 14th the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 100th year by having an Expo and a party! This was a fun event and we were proud to be part of it. We had two door prize, and did a draw the next day at the hospital. Beth Ritchie, a Volunteer, and Nancy Mareck, our Telehealth Analyst, pulled the names.

More news about healthcare in your community – Nancy Mareck the aforementioned (and pictured above) Telehealth Analysts travelled to Denman Island to install Telehealth equipment so that residents can see their specialist via video without having to leave the Island. Now that the equipment has been installed some training will take place with the staff of the Denman Island Medical Clinic before the service goes live for residents. Another step closer to “exceptional healthcare close to home”!
