The Whistlestop Pub hosts a golf event every year in September. In 2018 they partnered with the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation again and a record $12,000 was raised. The event is always held at Sunnydale golf course with a bbq back at the pub. In 2019, the event is on September 14th.
