My team and I have been fortunate and blessed in our real estate business and want to give back. There are several worthy, local charities but having owned a senior's facility I chose to support an organization that is of particular meaning to me.As a volunteer at St. Josephs Hospital this past year, I spent time with (mostly) elderly residents in long term care. Many had dementia or Alzheimer's and the best medicine I could give was a hug (I never got turned down once.) It was a humbling experience because most residents didn't remember me from one week to the next!
