Smile Cookies coming to the Comox Valley in support of local healthcare
Make our community every bite better with a Smile Cookie!
Local owners of Tim Horton's restaurants have selected the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation as the recipient for all proceeds from Smile Cookie Week which is set to take place April 28 to May 4. 100% of proceeds from cookies sold locally will support healthcare in the Comox Valley.
While they might just look like cute chocolate chunk cookies, these delicious treats have generated over $55,000 toward local healthcare enhancements over the many years of Tim Hortons’ contributions to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation.
If you have a meeting or a gathering scheduled, we invite you to add some sweetness to the occasion and boost local healthcare resources at the same time!
You can pre-order by downloading an order form here or visit one of our local restaurants to reserve your cookies. Smile Cookies are $2 each or $24 for a dozen. If you have a large order in mind, please call us at 250-331-5957 and we can help with ordering and delivering like we did last year when a hospital patient wanted to show her gratitude for the care she received by purchasing a cookie for every hospital employee! Read more below.
Send us a photo of your group or yourself enjoying cookies and we will promote you on our social media channels AND enter you into a contest to win a Tim Horton's gift card!
Last year, a local individual said thank you to hospital staff in a very sweet way and we were thrilled to be involved. Over 900 cookies were purchased and delivered to the team at the Comox Valley Hospital.
A friend of the Foundation insisted that the entire hospital be treated to cookies and asked us to ensure all departments were appreciated as she felt strongly that the collective efforts of everyone made her care so exceptional. This special offering boosted staff morale and contributed tremendously to Tim Horton's overall donation of $10,000.
Coordination of this patient’s gift happened while she was receiving care and facing significant healthcare challenges, which makes it even more heartfelt. Our friend's healthcare journey continues and she is showing up with courage, gratitude, and positivity. She is an inspiration to us here at the Foundation and we are happy we have this opportunity to share her story once again.
