Knitted Goods

Tiny hats and small knit blankets are provided to newborn babies at the hospital as a warm welcome.

This beautiful tradition within the Maternal Child Unit is only possible thanks to skillful, generous volunteers who enjoy knitting.

Additionally, knit lap blankets provide comfort and help to brighten spirits of adult patients requiring extended stays in the hospital or to those in long-term care.

Please be in touch (250-331-5957) if you are interested in knitting for children or seniors. The Foundation will ensure your handmade treasures are provided to the appropriate department and that you have the opportunity to learn more about how your gifts are used to enhance healthcare.
