Stuffed Animals

Stuffed animals are used in several departments throughout the hospital to help comfort children who need medical care. These soft, cuddly toys reduce stress and are wonderful for distracting, calming, or cheering up young patients.

The Comox Valley Hospital serves thousands of children annually. The Foundation needs approximately 5,000 stuffed animals per year to keep this special program going. For hygiene reasons, donated stuffies should be new with the tags left on.

Please drop off stuffed animals to the Foundation office which is just inside the main entrance of the Comox Valley Hospital (Room 1411). Contact us to make other arrangements or to discuss donating funds to this important pediatric program.

Upon learning that the Foundation was in short supply, Ramona rallied her community to get behind the plush toy drive.
